How can I identify a gas line problem?
Safety is the most important thing to consider when you are dealing with any kind of problem with a gas line. Natural gas has an odor like a rotten egg. If you notice this smell within your home, it is important to get out of your home as quickly as possible and call us for help. For your own safety it is best if you do not try to find the leak or turn the gas off yourself. If you are worried about any other type of gas line problems, it is best to contact us in order to locate any problems you may have.
What causes water heater problems?
There are a variety of problems that can happen with a water heater, such as leaking and a lack of hot water. Determining the cause of these problems is not always easy to do, but we can easily do this for you. When there is a leak, it will need to be found and then repaired or replaced depending on where the leak is and the severity of it. For those that do not have any hot water, the cause will depend on whether the water heater is gas or electric. If it is gas, the cause could be as simple as the pilot light being out or there could be a part that is malfunctioning. If your water heater is electric, the breaker may have been tripped or the thermostat could be faulty. When there is not enough hot water, there could be a number of causes, such as sediment build-up or a faulty part. We can investigate all of these problems for you in order to determine and fix the issue.

I called them regarding a low water flow shower issue . Ryan the plumber assets that the old part was a bit bent and and would need to be replaced . He did give me a option , just to leave it , and live with the low water flow . But I said to replace it with a new part . Ryan did the best to minimize the cost of the repair , and would like to thank him for it .

Installed part malfunctioned

While plumber seemed thorough and thoughtful in discussing the fixes, I discovered 1 hour after plumber left that the installed part (fill valve) was malfunctioning (wouldn't stop filling tank). We don't know if the malfunction was caused by the part or installation. The part was new (from Home Depot) and supplied by me, and was from a manufacturer the plumber was familiar with. The plumber said the installation and part was fine, but I did not check out its functioning right after installation. I only know that the part was not working properly shortly after the plumber left. I was told that having the plumber return to fix the problem would cost me more. I couldn't justify an extra $100 in labour costs for a $20 part, so I ended up changing out the part myself. I was not happy with the overall experience.
